Augusta, GA — Mission impossible. Kentucky UAS was offered the opportunity to perform a series of commercial insurance inspections across 5 states just after two (2) hurricanes struck from the gulf of mexico.

Two hurricanes blew into Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina causing major home damage.

By the time we set south, both storms had hit and we were heading for even more trouble. Car trouble. Road hazards. Flooding. Roads closed. Power loss. Stores closed. Cell towers down. Cities dark. No food available.

Smile, go the distance, and make every effort your best. We used an enterprise M3E drone with mech shutter to provide site mapping and 3D models of buildings, then inspect roof at close proximity.

Next, aerial M3C and ground cameras gathered 360° 8K video and pano photos of the site, facades and garden centers.

Lastly after dark, an enterprise M3T thermal drone is launched to create an ortho of the roof using infrared. In all aspects, we delivered. Client was very pleased. In the end, quite a fun success story.
