Circle, MT — Pictured is Big Sky Country, and a Montana State D.O.T. Highway project creating a travel shortcut between the old towns of Glendive and Circle. An accurately GIS-RTK mapping survey of the entire area was required for the project, along with ongoing progressions.

Challenges included a complete lack of cellular service for 250 miles. Working in full sunlight, middle of nowhere, in the peak heat of summer.

Kentucky UAS drove up, setup, and provided a significant portion of the services from mapping to cinema and photography services. All media was delivered as recorded with delight — quite a unique experience.

Ultimately wound up staying at the Big Sky Motel in Roundup.
